Meet the Staff
Sami Pexa
Mrs. Sami (owner of Sami's Home Preschool) has been working in childcare for a total of 10+ years. Before starting her own home childcare, she gained extensive training by working as a live-in nanny, working at numerous center-based childcare facilities and even working as a substitute teacher at home childcare facilities. She's been running Sami's Home Preschool since August 2015 and has loved it ever since. She opens up her home to provide the warmth of a home environment but has changed her basement to model a preschool atmosphere. She incorporates home childcare and center based childcare in one environment. Outside of childcare, Sami loves to relax on the lake, spend time with friends and family, and go on trips!
Cyndi Stepka
Mrs. Cyndi is Sami's Home Preschool substitute (Mrs. Sami's Mother). She helps cover days so Sami can insure she is taking minimal days off. Mrs. Cyndi works for a payroll company in Bloomington. While at Sami's Home Preschool she enjoys going outside and soaking up all the cuddles! Outside of work, Mrs. Cyndi enjoys playing horseshoes, spending time with her grandkids, and going on vacation!
Abbi Pexa
Abbi Pexa is Sami's Sister in Law. Abbi visits Sami's Home Preschool as a helper and substitute. Abbi attends St. Bens College for Computer Science. She also participates on the St. Bens Dance Team! Abbi's favorite thing about helping at Sami's Home Preschool is seeing all the kids having fun and learning problem solving skills that will help them in the future! Outside of school & work she enjoys dancing and spending time with family/friends!
Chris Jabs
Mrs. Chris is Sami's Mother-in-Law and is a Substitute Grandma at Sami's Home Preschool! She offers comfort, snuggles, and the perfect grandma feel for when Mrs. Sami needs to attend to personal errands. Grandma Chris's favorite daycare activities are reading books, playing outside, and holding the babies! During her free time she enjoys camping trips, motorcycle rides, and long walks!
